The 100 mark banknote was introduced in 1975 and was the highest denomination in the GDR. While the front features a portrait of Karl Marx and the national coat of arms, the back is adorned with a view of the boulevard "Unter den Linden" in Berlin with the armory, the Palace of the Republic and the tower of the Red Town Hall.
The 100 mark note is uncirculated in a high-quality folding card.
